Glazing for windows, doors and facades

Glass structure with a slim metal frame and a view of a classic building

The right glass depends on location, orientation and use. Concrete values are given in the Declaration of Performance of the complete system (profile + glass).

What’s included

  • Thermal double glazing (e.g. 4-16-4, 4-20-4) with argon
  • Thermal triple glazing (e.g. 4-16-4-16-4)
  • Laminated (triplex) and tempered safety glass
  • Acoustic glass
  • Low-E, Four Seasons and solar-control glass
  • Mirrored double glazing for fixed panels; colours: clear, grey, bronze, blue

Best for

  • Noisy streets: acoustic glass
  • Balconies and doors: tempered or laminated glass
  • Strong sun exposure: solar-control glass
  • Cold rooms: triple glazing or Low-E

How to choose glazing

Choose glass by the problem you want to solve: thermal insulation (double or triple with argon and Low-E), noise (acoustic glass), safety (laminated or tempered) or strong sun (solar control). Ug and Uw values are read from the Declaration of Performance, and tempered glass cannot be cut after tempering, so dimensions must be exact before production.

Read double or triple glazing, laminated or tempered and how to reduce street noise.

Frequently asked questions

Double or triple glazing?

Triple insulates better but is heavier and costs more; double glazing with argon and Low-E is often enough for homes. See our detailed article.

What does Low-E mean?

A very thin, invisible coating on the glass that reflects part of the heat, reducing winter heat loss.

Do you replace damaged glass?

Yes. Replacing damaged glass is part of our after-sales service, with a prior quote.

Do you offer acoustic glass?

Yes, acoustic glass is part of our range, along with double, triple, Low-E, solar-control, laminated and tempered glass.
